My name is Emma, I am 18 from Cumbria and I have just finished college at Newton Rigg
During my project in Croatia, I made signs, we were able to feed bears, made bins and benches from scrap wood, made ice-lollies for the bears when it was hot and had fun working together.
In my free time, I went and sat down at the bears and watched them, we had a campfire and were able to go camping.
Thanks to this project, professionally I learned how to work well in a big group and get the job done to a good standard. I have been able to improve my knowledge on the bears and learn some Croatian.
Personally, I feel that I have been able to be more confident in getting to know new people and have been able to improve my DIY skills.
