My name is Tom. I am currently studying sports at Kirklees college.
During my time in Valencia, I have gained a great amount of knowledge on the different methods of coaching used over here in Spain compared to the methods used in England. I have coached and played football. It has been very interesting to see how different age groups have been coached.
The two most enjoyable things I have done in my free time is paella making and visiting the Mastella, where we were taken on the tour of the stadium.
I have learnt how to get across my point in a drill and how to get the minds of the younger children focused on the session. My coaching skills that I had have definitely improved especially when coaching younger children.
